James Hunter Outward Bound Scholarships

RCOB, in partnership with the Hunter family, are proud to announce this Scholarship opportunity.

Head Prefect in 1980, James was orphaned while at college but attended Outward Bound and the experience was pivotal in his growth as a leader and young man. James was one of our proudest Old Boys but passed away suddenly in South Africa in 2017. His family  wish to honour his love for his school and for outdoor experiences by establishing this fund to support Rongotai’s future leaders

We are now accepting donations to build a strong and sustainable legacy programme to send two or more boys to Outward Bound each year.
